We invite you to The OMG Center’s event on Thursday 3rd October from 6 PM at Tempest Brighton. This will be an exciting evening with fellow digital enthusiasts and OMG partners, including our headline sponsor, Wix Studio.

Since the event coincides with brightonSEO, it’s a fantastic way to end the day!

The evening promises opportunities to enjoy food & drinks, and make new connections. Chris will host a live episode of the podcast “And we have an office dog…” featuring agency leaders and OMG partners discussing agency topics.

Special Guests: Stephen and Luna, our beloved office dogs, will also join us.

Tickets are FREE! Each ticket includes a drink, buffet, cakes, sweets and all the fun mentioned above. Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar.

Crystal Carter – Head of SEO Communications, Wix

Crystal Carter is the Head of SEO Communications at Wix. She is an SEO & Digital Marketing professional with over 15 years experience working with SEO and Marketing clients around the world including Disney, McDonalds, Tomy and more. As an SEO, she identifies and implements tactics that help businesses optimise digital activity, drive sales, engagement and growth online.

She has contributed to events, webinars, and publications from Google Search Central, brightonSEO, Moz, Whitespark Local Search Summit, Semrush, SMX, Search Engine Land, Lumar, Women in Tech SEO and more.

When asked about interests, Crystal said ” I have recently purchased an airfryer 🙂 ” so we look forward to hearing how that’s going…!

Mark Williams-Cook – Digital Marketing Director, Candour

Mark Williams-Cook has worked agency side over the last 20 years and is a Director at search agency Candour where he focuses on marketing the agency, SEO R&D and running side projects such as AlsoAsked. Candour will work with any client with an appetite, budget, and aspiration for SEO – and most importantly, that the team agree on.

Outside of SEO,  he’s a keen scuba person, and, until this year, when he turned too old, was an England Boxing carded amateur boxer. He’s also an indie game dev, having shipped one iOS game that was popular in China for reasons unknown.

Becky Simms – CEO, Human First Collective

Becky is CEO of the Human First Collective, which includes Reflect Digital, LAB and Aspiration Digital. Human First Collective work with brands like Hello Fresh, Sysco and Greenwich Peninsula to unite behavioural science and marketing to supercharge growth. She has spent the last 16 years working in digital marketing and tech. Becky has also been listed in the BIMA 100 for four years consecutively, a list of the top 100 people shaping the future of the digital industry.

Outside of work, Becky is a foodie who loves to travel and also enjoys spending time upside down doing aerial silks!

Patrick Hathaway – Co-founder & CEO, Sitebulb

Patrick is the Co-founder and CEO of Sitebulb, a website crawling tool for technical SEO analysis. They have been around since 2017, and originally launched as a desktop tool, designed to serve SEO consultants and digital agencies. Last year they launched a cloud version of their software, enabling them to also cater for large multi-national agencies and household brands.

Patrick loves nerding out on food, and will bite the ear off anyone who shows even a passing interest in baking sourdough bread.

Rachael Marshall – MD & Founder, Magic Digits

Rachael Marshall is the Managing Director and Founder of Magic Digits, a company she established to offer high-quality, affordable bookkeeping and management accounting services tailored for small to medium-sized agencies. After the birth of her second child and the advent of Covid, Rachael sought flexibility in her professional life, so she expanded her reach to connect with a diverse pool of talented accountants. Magic Digits primarily serves agencies in the creative sectors such as PR, marketing, branding, and design. The company targets agencies with turnovers up to £4 million, leveraging Rachael’s extensive experience in digital marketing and financial roles.

Rachael’s most important role is being a Mother, she adores it and everything she is trying to build is for them and their future. Rachael also enjoys keeping fit BUT she does also love a good beer down the pub!
